After not so patiently growing my hair out for TWO YEARS, I finally gave up on the long sleek bob look for my flat fine hair. Too much work for too little result. I am very happy with the shorter, shaggier look! Yay me!
I love your haircut! Very modern and flattering to you!
I too attempt to grown my hair out every few years but it gets to the point where it is just so horrible in that in-between stage that I give up and go back to having short hair. I need to just accept that long hair is not in my cards and it doesn't really flatter me. But... still I dream and every few years I go for it again.
It looks good on you! It looks hip and easy to maintain. You go girl! My long hair is ridiculous. It takes me forever in the morning to wash, comb my knots out, dry & style. Ugh!!! So seeing your haircut - love it!
Wow! Thanks guys, you make me feel all warm inside. My students all liked it too & gave me lots of extra attention untill Matt came in with his dyed rusty-firey red! Ha!
Hi, Brenda! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment on my site! I'm just a little bit older than you - 55 next month - and I've been struggling with letting my hair grow out, too. I think the longer look is going to have to work for me...since going completely silver, my hair has taken on a life of its own, very curly!!! Only a week or two after a haircut it'd look like I'd stuck my finger in an electic outlet! It's a little longer than your "before" photo length and the weight of it seems to be keeping the curls in check...now it's just very wavy, haha! Dear Hubby likes it longer. It gives my infant grandson something to yank on periodically thruout the day, too.
Hi Thanks for reading! Please leave a comment even if it has nothing to do with the specific blog, it's great to know that you are writing stuff that real live people actually read, ya know? Brenda
