Good-bye

This is from 2 years ago. No new pics because this is how I want to remember her.
We are with my amazing mother-in-law these last few days because these are her last few days. She is coherent but knows that this "good-bye" will be our last good-bye here on earth. How do we do this today?
God be with us.

  1. You don't say good-bye. Say see you again and enjoy your next journey. That's what I said to my husband. I refused to say good-bye. As long as she knows she is loved that's the important thing. Such a hard time. My heart goes out to you and your family.

  2. You will be in my thoughts! That must be so hard to do. I have both my parents and in laws yet, so it´s something I have a head of me.

  3. My heart goes out to you. What a heartbreaking time. I wouldn't say good-bye in the final sense but I know what you mean. Hugs!

  8. Brenda,

As a hospice nurse, I am in contact with families just like yours all the time. Grab these last days and hours - talk to her, tell her how much you love her and will miss her. Hearing is believed to be the last sense to go, so even if she is in a coma, keep talking.

My heart is with each of you,

    Namaste..........cj

Hi Thanks for reading! Please leave a comment even if it has nothing to do with the specific blog, it's great to know that you are writing stuff that real live people actually read, ya know?
