This is from 2 years ago. No new pics because this is how I want to remember her.
We are with my amazing mother-in-law these last few days because these are her last few days. She is coherent but knows that this "good-bye" will be our last good-bye here on earth. How do we do this today?
God be with us.

  1. You don't say good-bye. Say see you again and enjoy your next journey. That's what I said to my husband. I refused to say good-bye. As long as she knows she is loved that's the important thing. Such a hard time. My heart goes out to you and your family.

  2. You will be in my thoughts! That must be so hard to do. I have both my parents and in laws yet, so it´s something I have a head of me.

  3. My heart goes out to you. What a heartbreaking time. I wouldn't say good-bye in the final sense but I know what you mean. Hugs!

  4. I am so sorry. We went through this two months ago with my FIL and it is so hard. My prayers will be with your family.

  5. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. I just did this 2 weeks ago with my uncle. My prayers are with you and yours.

    Hugs & love,

  7. My prayers are with you. ((Hugs))

  8. Blessings in a difficult time!

  9. Brenda,

As a hospice nurse, I am in contact with families just like yours all the time. Grab these last days and hours - talk to her, tell her how much you love her and will miss her. Hearing is believed to be the last sense to go, so even if she is in a coma, keep talking.

My heart is with each of you,
