Too Old?

***Friday Follow!***

I am getting tired of hearing myself ask myself the same questions lately……

Am I too old to be on Facebook? Did it anyway.

Am I too old to wear jeans & flip flops to work? Doing it anyway.

Am I too old to grow my hair out?

Am I too old become a motorcycle chick? Ha ha!

Am I too old to dream?

Am I too old to get beautiful on the outside?

Am I too old to have true friends who are still back on the other side of 30?

Am I too old to dance?

Am I too old to totally change my style?

Am I too old to not know what I want to be when I grow up?

Am I too old to care if jeans should be narrow or wide?

Am I too old to be mad at God sometimes?

Am I too old to lay in the sun? Doin’ it anyway.

Am I too old to have so many questions still?

Am I too old to wonder what I am doing here?

Am I too old to look for a new career?

Am I too old to wear tank tops? Doing it anyway.

Am I too old to go sleeveless?

Am I too old for a tattoo? He he! Did it anyway!

Am I too old to be so silly? Being it anyway!

Now I know why older women wear stuff that looks bad…they get tired of answering these questions & just do it anyway! YAY FOR FREEDOM!!

  1. Hey girl, you are only as old as you feel. If you feel like wearing jeans, wear them, if you feel like getting a tattoo, get one. Feel young and be young.

  5. As a 62 year old widow. your list of questions hit home in many ways. I'm here from Meet Me on Monday, so "Nice to meetcha!"

  6. You are so awesome.

I LOVE this post. Of course the answer to all of these questions is "no." You look so young and amazing, and I think you are torn on the inside. Part of you feels young and free, and part of you doesn't. Try to let the former win most of the time. :)

  10. A while back (before I was 40ish) I started a Red Hat group for my Grandma. It was enjoyable and one thing I found out for sure...you are NEVER too old to do anything! ;-)

Come on over if you wish.

  13. Hi Brenda I am a new visitor and follower from over 40. What a list of questions..I think I do all of them except the tattoo..I may have to just do it! I always tell my 11 grandchildren when I grow up I want to be a writer and they say Mom-Mom you are a writer, so I tell them I just want to keep practicing until I'm really grown up. The crazy thing is they believe I'm not grown up yet!
I hope when you have a chance you will stop by and say hello!

Hi Thanks for reading! Please leave a comment even if it has nothing to do with the specific blog, it's great to know that you are writing stuff that real live people actually read, ya know?
