Drug Test: Pass or Fail - No Essay Questions

Things are looking good regarding the two jobs that Hubs has heard back from. Last night as we were talking about the good news to our son and his wife, we got a good laugh.

Hubs: So they sent me  to Benicia for a drug test so that's a positive sign.
Writer Son: What? The drug test was positive so that's a good thing?
Hubs: I took a drug test, that is a positive!
Writer Son: (Seeing that pops does not get his joke...) I don't think a positive drug test is a good sign at all!
Hubs: (exasperated, rolls his eyes and "gets it")

  2. Hubs was positive that being send for a drug test was a good thing. Yup, got that. It's all in where you place your modifiers.
    It will be even more positive when the results come back negative. (I positive that's what I mean to say.)

  4. Yes my hubs passed his drug test with flying colors before he got the job....hearing test did worry us.
